Produce Bag

$10.00

You'll never use disposable produce bags ever again!

  • Light and see-through: Thin (yet very resistant) mesh makes it light and allows content to be seen from the outside.
  • Pull string: Lock veggies in by pulling the string out from the hem.
  • Two sizes: The standard size will cover you for pretty much any produce, including large romaine lettuce, for example. Small size is perfect for tiny items like garlic, ginger and small fruits.
  • Machine washable: Machine wash to keep them clean and use over and over again.
  • Instruction printed in large letters: Tare weight and care instructions printed for right on the hem for easy reading. No looking for tiny little writings.

🌱 Made from natural textiles: GOTS certified organic cotton. Dyed fabrics are OEKO-TEX Standard 100 certified (dyed without the use of harmful chemicals).

🍁 Made by Rather Green in Ontario.

    Caring for your bag

100% cotton canvas is machine washable, but we recommend spot cleaning the bag in order to maintain its distinctive sturdiness.

    Machine washing instructions:

    - Machine wash cold, delicate cycle. You may need to run the bag throught hte cycle twice in the first time you wash the bag, as canvas is water repellent when new.

    - Do not bleach.

    - Hang to dry. Hang the bag upside down attaching it to the clothesline by pegs.

    - Iron medium heat.

    - Expect 10% shrinkage.

    Spot cleaning instructions:

    - Marks: Rub marked area in circular motion with a damp cloth.

    - Stains: Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (commonly found in pharmacies). Rub stained area in circular motion using dry cloth. Start with a small amount and increase as needed until desired result.

    Best. Produce Bag. Ever.

I used these for the first time today and I am obsessed with them. Extremely durable and well made. My favourite part is that they have they have the tare weight directly on them making them so easy to use.

    Quality Canadian Made

This bag is the perfect size for our market and grocery needs with 2 people in our house. I love the organic cotton and hemp materials, it washes up beautifully. I am focusing my purchases on local first then Canadian made products and this is a great one! Looking forward to showing it off at the farmers markets this summer!
