Amiga Tote

I purchased the tote for office days instead of juggling a bunch of bags. The add-on options of the grab handles and snap closure are so functional and it was nice to be able to customize the colours. The only disappointment was that the laptop pocket didn’t work for my 15.6” laptop, but I put my charger and mouse there so it still gets used. The size and all the pockets are perfect to hold everything I need. Overall a very high quality, well-made bag and always happy to support a Canadian business.

This is the perfect crochet bag for me on the go. It has just right amount of room, pockets and sturdiness for all my crochet wips. It stands up on it’s own and doesn’t flop over. Definitely going to order another one. Glad I found this brand I highly recommend purchasing from them as the quality is amazing.

I searched for a long time for the perfect knitting bag, but they all lacked some key detail I wanted. I love that I could specify so many aspects of this new Rather Green bag. My knitting gear is super organized now. No more rummaging! And I love the snaps to keep my pup from stealing my yarn.

I love this bag. It’s my daily bag I take out and take to work. I take it everywhere. The canvas is sturdy. The color is nice. I added the laptop sleeve customization which unfortunately puts the three inner pockets immediately behind the outer pockets making it difficult to fit much in them. I don’t know what really would have been the preferable choice. Maybe sewing the inner pockets onto the laptop sleeve? But this is why I’m no designer, the solution is a mystery to me. Regardless I love this bag.

I love this bag. It stands upright; has plenty of pockets to keep everything sorted; large enough to hold all the yarn for one project. Added snaps to keep it tidy when on the move.

I ordered my Amiga in the colour merlot and I customized it with all flat external pockets and a key clip. Having the internal and external pockets on opposite sides makes it feel very balanced, and the canvas is very sturdy - much thicker than the canvas totes you commonly see. I love that the straps are long enough that I can carry it over my shoulder, but not too long that it drags on the ground (I’m 5’7” so might not be the same for someone shorter). The straps also go all the way under the bag which allows it to hold a lot of weight. I have been loving my Amiga tote so much that I already ordered an Amiga tote ‘petite’!

I love my Rather Green tote bag. It's perfect for my yarn projects and I can carry everything I need for a craft meet-up in one bag.

I like that the top snaps, I don't need to worry about my yarn snagging on a zipper.

I’m very pleased with my amiga tote, I’ll be using it as a baby bag. The canvas material is thick, giving the bag a nice structure. In the world of gross fast fashion companies, it’s a breath of fresh air to find this company.

This bag is exactly what I’ve been looking for! The quality is phenomenal, the colors I chose are exactly as shown online, and the production time/shipping was exactly as promised.

A word of caution (that is completely my own fault for not fully processing the description): I chose to add-on lap top pocket which moves the 3 interior pockets to the front panel, making it difficult to use them at the same time as the 3 exterior pockets since they now occupy the same space. For my next bag, I will forgo the laptop pocket to keep the interior pockets on the back panel.

Overall, I am very pleased and plan to order more in the future!

I received my Amiga tote and despite multiple additions, they got everything spot on. In fact, I had chosen a third color accidentally for one of the additions. An eagle eyed employee at Rather Green noticed the imbalance and reached out via email. They wanted to verify the choice before starting to make my bag. They not only made sure my bag was what I wanted, but they gave me the opportunity to fix my mistake and provided me with the perfect tote.

No doubt that each of these bags are handmade with great attention to detail. Perfect purchase and well worth the price.

i've been a tote bag aficionado wandering the barren, disappointing landscape for decades--i've tried them all and been disappointment behind every door--but my custom Amiga tote is a true beacon of hope and one of the best totes i have ever used.

i decked mine out with extra pockets (internal and external) and a shoulder strap and use it as a diaper bag with my newborn daughter. i LOVE IT. Use it every day. Will be reordering one for my wife, and a larger one for the beach.

the heavyweight canvas feels great and is obviously durable. the colors pop and the stitching and hardware feel chunky and substantial.

I waited and waited before buying an Amiga Tote, and I am so glad I did! Dante was very helpful and easy to communicate with, and I'm delighted to know this bag was made with such attention to detail. Highlighy recommend! This is not your average bag-- the canvas is truly robust giving it beautiful structure, and it fits much more than I realized it would.

Add-ons:
- I added extra inside pockets, so it's easy to find everything on-the-go.
- I also added the extra handles on the inside, making it easy to carry by hand in case it's heavy for the shoulder.
- Make outside pockets flat: I made all pockets flat as I know I would store any bulky items on the inside, and so far that's been a breeze!

It's really a joy to know the care and craftsmanship that is poured into these creations, truly a pleasure to see and use!

I purchased the Amiga Tote in Ocean bottom with Merlot pockets, and I absolutely love it. I use it as my school bag, and it fits everything I need with room to spare. I can comfortably carry my 16-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Air, headphones, wallet, toiletry bag, and 24 oz Owala—and I still have space left. I’ve even managed to fit my winter jacket in the bag, which really speaks to how spacious it is.
The pockets are well designed and make it easy to stay organized. My order arrived in about 14 business days, which was exactly as expected. I loved the bag so much that I ordered an Amiga Petite just a week after receiving it.
The quality is excellent—the canvas is very sturdy and feels built to last. I’m confident I’ll continue using this bag even after I graduate as a work bag. Thank you for such an amazing, well-made product!

I love my bag! I love that it’s structured enough to stand even when it has things inside. I also like that I made the two centre pockets flat, I feel like with 6 exterior pockets it made it more streamlined and it’s handy to have spots for pens or smaller items. I didn’t know how much I’d use the laptop pocket but it’s so convenient, even for files or books, if not a laptop. I can see myself using this bag for a long time and now I want to plan a trip just so that I can use the suitcase strap 😂

I’m absolutely obsessed with my new bag and all of the keen features I’ve added to her. I have mine in the poppy with coffee bottom. I never knew a canvas tote could have this many bells and whistles! I love that there are pockets for everything. The fact that there are no dividers inside the bag does not bother me as I am a pouch person. Will definitely be ordering another one in a different size and color. Aside from the perfections of this bag, I would have liked to have seen softer straps but I’m sure that will come in time from using the bag. I love the short inside straps for easy grab and go and hope in the future the longer straps can come in the same fabric.

I am a physician and use my tote to haul lots of things back and forth from the hospital (computer, boxed lunch, coffee and water bottles, fleece jacket, amongst the other usual bag knickknacks, etc). It holds everything without feeling like an oversized tote and I love the many pockets and organization I was able to select! The colors are true to the pictures and the quality of the back is amazing in terms of durability. My only areas for improvement would be if it was possible to change out the base color for white (I worry about the straps dirtying with more time) and if there could be future options to add a zippered pocket (or even bag closure) but this is just me wanting to do even more with a bag that already does the most! I’ve already had multiple friends and family inquire about it to get their own and would highly recommend to anyone interested. Note that the computer sleeve is just canvas and tab buttons, no additional padding or full closure if that matters to you.

The tote I purchased is probably one of the best items I have ever bought online. The quality of work is exceptional. I highly recommend this item.

I’m very happy with my Amiga tote. It’s a great size and I love the pockets. The colors are great and it was so hard to pick. I went with Coffee and Earth to be more neutral.

I’m very happy that my kobo Clara reader fits in the flat pocket. My small baggu crescent fits inside too!
