If your bag has a production-related quality issue, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it. We'll either send you a brand new one or you can choose to receive a full refund. If there is no production-related quality issue, orders are final sale.
Caring for your bag
This bag is made to withstand machine washing. However, we recommend to wash it by hand in order to avoid unnecessary abrasion of the fabric fibres and reach a more delicate result. We recommend spot cleaning the bag for as long as you can before completely washing it, in order to maintain its sturdiness.
Spot cleaning instructions:
- Marks:
- Depending on the type of mark, you may be able to get rid of it by rubbing a white eraser.
- For tougher marks, damp a cloth with a solution of water and mild detergent and rub area in circular motion.
- Oily stains: Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (commonly found in pharmacies). Rub stained area in circular motion using dry cloth. Start with a small amount and increase as needed until desired result is achieved.
Hand washing instructions:
- Fill up a sink or basin with a solution of water and mild detergent.
- Push bag into the solution gently using your two hands, making sure water reaches all surfaces of the bag.
- Brush areas with accentuated dirt or marks.
- Do not bleach.
- Drying:
- Use a towel to pat dry the bag. Remove any spots of water accumulation and flatten wrinkled spots.
- Hang the bag by its handles in a well-ventilated area and let it air dry completely.
Machine washing instructions:
- Machine wash cold, delicate cycle. You may need to run the bag through two or even three cycles in the first time you wash the bag, as canvas is water repellent when new.
- Do not bleach.
- Drying: Hang the bag by its handles in a well-ventilated area and let it air dry completely.
- If needed, iron on medium heat setting.
- As this bag is mainly made of unprocessed 100% cotton canvas, expect 10% to 15% shrinkage of the undyed parts.

This bag is a little wider than I thought (I measured 15” length, 10” height of bag, 6” depth, total height 20”) but still a great size for on the go. I got the amiga petite with snaps, loops, shortened straps, and made the exterior side pockets flat except in the middle.
I found the 6 standard pockets to be the perfect amount, I use all of them and still don’t have to compete with bulging pockets when using the remaining open pocket (unlike other brand tote bags). I got it shortened to a total height of 20” so that I could hold it by the straps and not have it touch the floor while I walk, but I find the width and rigidity of the straps make it a little hard to do (1.5” width). Sturdy but thin canvas makes for a very comfortable bag, and with so many colour ways, I’m already eyeing the sweet potato colour for my next bag ♥️ thanks RG!
I was very excited about this handmade product (amiga petite) I customized it with a lot of add-ons.
The actual bag measures smaller than the indicated measurements, so it's not very usable for much. I can't really fit a pair of shoes. The add ons made it even smaller.
It looks well made but I'm a little bummed out that I can't use this bag the way I wanted to. I'll have to donate it to someone.
I knew that these were made custom to order but I wasn't prepared to wait this long for the delivery.

Especially in summer a light weight canvas bag is great. Especially for seniors like me. The quality is fantastic, the stitching perfect. Highly recommend. So many choices too.

I love my Amiga Petite! It is so well-made and beautiful. It wasn't quite big enough for what I was hoping to use it for, so I've ordered an Amiga Plus (and will use this one when I don't need to carry as much). Definitely recommend!
As titled - the search of a perfect bag is finally completed. As a petite (5") mom of two, there are so many things live in my bags. Often, the bag is either too big, the strips are too long, or is not accessible enough for a quick reach of the wipes. Until I found Rather Green! The petite is a perfect size for me with lots of pockets and I am so glad I read the reviews and added the shoulder strip. I cannot say enough good things about the bag! Currently saving up for another purchase - this is how much I love it!
