If your bag has a production-related quality issue, please contact us within 30 days of receiving it. We'll either send you a brand new one or you can choose to receive a full refund. If there is no production-related quality issue, orders are final sale.
Caring for your bag
This bag is made to withstand machine washing. However, we recommend to wash it by hand in order to avoid unnecessary abrasion of the fabric fibres and reach a more delicate result. We recommend spot cleaning the bag for as long as you can before completely washing it, in order to maintain its sturdiness.
Spot cleaning instructions:
- Marks:
- Depending on the type of mark, you may be able to get rid of it by rubbing a white eraser.
- For tougher marks, damp a cloth with a solution of water and mild detergent and rub area in circular motion.
- Oily stains: Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide (commonly found in pharmacies). Rub stained area in circular motion using dry cloth. Start with a small amount and increase as needed until desired result is achieved.
Hand washing instructions:
- Fill up a sink or basin with a solution of water and mild detergent.
- Push bag into the solution gently using your two hands, making sure water reaches all surfaces of the bag.
- Brush areas with accentuated dirt or marks.
- Do not bleach.
- Drying:
- Use a towel to pat dry the bag. Remove any spots of water accumulation and flatten wrinkled spots.
- Hang the bag by its handles in a well-ventilated area and let it air dry completely.
Machine washing instructions:
- Machine wash cold, delicate cycle. You may need to run the bag through two or even three cycles in the first time you wash the bag, as canvas is water repellent when new.
- Do not bleach.
- Drying: Hang the bag by its handles in a well-ventilated area and let it air dry completely.
- If needed, iron on medium heat setting.
- As this bag is mainly made of unprocessed 100% cotton canvas, expect 10% to 15% shrinkage of the undyed parts.

I love my Amiga Petite! It is so well-made and beautiful. It wasn't quite big enough for what I was hoping to use it for, so I've ordered an Amiga Plus (and will use this one when I don't need to carry as much). Definitely recommend!
As titled - the search of a perfect bag is finally completed. As a petite (5") mom of two, there are so many things live in my bags. Often, the bag is either too big, the strips are too long, or is not accessible enough for a quick reach of the wipes. Until I found Rather Green! The petite is a perfect size for me with lots of pockets and I am so glad I read the reviews and added the shoulder strip. I cannot say enough good things about the bag! Currently saving up for another purchase - this is how much I love it!

Absolutely love my new tote bag for crochet. I ordered the smaller of the bags. The bag is made so well and is beautiful. Having the extra pockets and snaps help keep me organized. I should have added more inside pockets. Will save that for next bag. I do recommend this tote bag
There are so many things that I love about my new Amiga Petite bag:
- all the handy pockets that came with the standard version
- the length of the shoulder straps
- the ability to customize my bag with colour and other features
- the snap closures that I added in are very handy
- but most of all - it's locally made and I can't think of a better Canadian business to support than one that uses sustainable materials and gives back to the earth by planting a tree
- the placement of the Rather Green label so I can show off my beautiful bag!
I ordered one for my daughter as soon as I got mine and she loved picking her own colour scheme. I see another bag in my future - perhaps the bigger one so I can use it to carry all my yoga things when I teach!

I love my Rather Green bag - I went with the petite because I wanted to use it as my everyday bag/purse. It's a great size to take to work, enough room for all the essentials and a lunch. The quality is great and the fabric is very durable. I haven't washed it yet so can't speak to how washable it is.
Purchased this bag to use as a diaper bag and it is working out great! I love the external pockets for easy access and the interior fits all of my diaper bad essentials. I added the crossbody strap for an additional carrying option, but the handles are a great length and have stayed on my shoulder quite well while carrying other things. The light grey is a great neutral and I looked forward to being able to use this bag for other purposes in years to come!
